O.K., Now Spin The Wheel Tough times call for tough decisions. That is why one Baltimore, Maryland casino has decided to run their Babies For Bling promotion throughout the month of May.
Greab Casino in Maryland has come up with a unique promotion that is causing controversy in the state. They are offering a free spin on their "Wheel of Fortune" type game, in exchange for newborn babies.
The amount of money that can be won during the free spin ranges from $100,000 to $1 million. With no less than $100,000 to be won, the promotion, which began on Wednesday evening, has already drawn large crowds.
"When I found out the casino was running this promotion, I quickly gathered my child's things and headed down to the casino," said Holly Brusco, "I couldn't afford to raise Milo in this economic climate anyway, so the decision to trade him for a spin was an easy one."
Others did not have as easy a choice. Don and Bethany Brewer have just recently had twins. Don has lost his job on Wall Street in the past few months, and the parents were hoping to trade both children in.
One of the casino rules for the promotion is only one child per family. That left Don and Bethany with the decision of which of their twins to give up, and which one to keep.
When asked by Online Craps what they were going to do with all the babies they collected, Greab General Manager Ryan Troubo replied, "Right now, the plan is to give them away as Christmas bonuses to our employees, but that may change if the economy rebounds in the next few months."
