War Card Game
A researcher at B.S. & Associates has determined that the popular kids card game of War is one of skill and not luck. Dr. Henry Tibeau claims to have scientific evidence that the game can be won more frequently by the most skilled players.

What started out as a commissioned report on whether the game of poker was more skill or more luck, quickly turned into an experiment on the game of War. Dr. Tibeau stumbled across his War findings while waiting to play hands of poker online.

"I was playing poker on line, doing research of course, and the play was slow, so my son and I started playing War," said Dr, Tibeau. "After playing ten consecutive games, and losing all ten, I asked my son what his secret was, and that is where I found evidence that War was a game of skill."

Tibeau claims that his son had a method by which he would flip his cards. First, he spun the card three times, and then he flipped the card quickly. Further research showed that when a "war" came up, Tibeau's son would spin the war card five times before flipping.

To prove the theory, Tibeau put the method to work the next day when a friend came over. Amazingly, Tibeau won four straight games, although the doctor did admit that these games were played for money.

When reminded that he still had not completed the poker report, Tibeau shrugged and said, "When playing poker starts paying my bills, I will classify it as a game of skill. Until then, the only card game of skill that I have found is War."

Our interview with Dr. Tibeau was cut short because he had several War challenges scheduled for the afternoon. We are hoping to hear back from B.S. & Associates in the near future to answer the question of whether poker is a game of skill.
