Roger Clemens
While the majority of the world is focused on steroids when it comes to Roger Clemens and his lying, casinos around the US are worried about their mints. It seems Clemens not only has denied using steroids, but he also denies ever taking free mints from various casinos.

Several casinos in the country have accused Clemens of being one of those athletes that likes free stuff. One casino in Michigan claims that Clemens once took fifteen free mints out of the dish at the front desk. It is a charge that Clemens has repeatedly denied.

"We have several eyewitnesses that have confessed to seeing Clemens take the mints," said Maury Bremil, the attorney representing the casino in a civil lawsuit. "Why would anyone just make up the fact that Clemens stole free mints? Can you even steal something that is free? We don't know, but we are going to find out in court."

The casino is suing Clemens for the fifteen mints and an autographed picture of one of his syringes used while took steroids. Clemens attorney's have called the case ludicrous, and they said there is no way they are giving back the mints. They did, however, leave the door open for negotiations on the autograph of the syringe.

Clemens was indicted on Thursday on charges of perjuring himself in front of Congress. If there is one thing that Congressman do not put up with, it is other people getting away with lying. Clemens faces prison time in the steroid case, but only a refurbishing of the mints in the civil suit.

During his career, Clemens was known by his teammates as the player who took free stuff from hotels. One teammate claims he saw Clemens take a bath towel, while another recounts a time when the pitcher broke the seal on a bottle of water and did not pay for the beverage.
