Cat An animal rights group in Detroit, Michigan is planning a protest for Friday in front of the Greektown Casino. Their beef is with a popular slot machine at the casino that features cats.
The slot machine, Cat Krazy, has been a favorite of many of the patrons at Greektown. They have installed ten of the Cat Krazy machines last June, and the manager of the casino says that there is never an open seat at any of the machines.
The animal rights group, Be My Puppy Dog, believes the slot machines are shedding a bad light on cats. They also believe, not living in reality as most animal rights group do not, that it is cruel to have the cats constantly spinning on reels.
"This blatant attempt to use cats as devices for entertainment has to stop," said wacko activist Beverly Buns, "do they (Greektown) see what they are doing to these animals?"
We sent a reporter to speak with a Greektown manager about the issue, but he refused to comment about the alleged controversy. He did, however, have this to say about the Be My Puppy Dog organization.
"What the f*ck is wrong with these people. They are so far out of reality that I don't even think they know it's a f*cking slot game. They must believe we are spinning real cats around these machines."
After pausing for a moment, he then added, "hey, that's not a bad idea."
The protest is set to start at 7:00 AM on Friday. This is being done to ensure that everyone traveling by the casino on the way to work is delayed at least fifteen minutes that day.
