Anurag Dikshit US president Barack Obama has decided that the nation's computer networks need to be protected, and he is looking in the most unlikely of areas for a cybersecurity advisor. A member of the online gambling community may be tapped for the position.
It has been a mystery to many people in the online gambling community as to why the founder of PartyGaming, Anurag Dikshit, settled with the US when it came to his illegal activity in the US. Now, the picture has become crystal clear.
There is widespread speculation that Dikshit will be named the new cybersecurity coordinator. The president hinted that nobody knows Internet security better than online gambling sites, and Dikshit ran one of the top gaming sites in the world.
The last thing any of these gambling sites wants is for someone to infiltrate their operations and alter the odds in a way that the house may lose. That is why they are considered to be among the best at Internet security.
It has been said that the best way to catch a criminal is with the help of a criminal mind. A spokesman for Obama alluded to the idea of Dikshit becoming helpful to the US.
"This Dipshit (Dikshit) guy has run a billion dollar operation and constantly has to worry about people hacking into his sites," said spokesman, Bill O'Neill, "so who better to ensure our computer netowrks remain safe than someone who already knows everything about Internet security."
The one drawback that Dikshit has is that he will have to be vetted by Republicans. There is a strong chance that they may use his past involvement in online gambling to show that he is dangerous to children.
On the flip side, Democrats believe that Dikshit's resemblance to a 7-Eleven employee will allow him to freely move around the country without being noticed.
