Poor Whopper Jr's
An Ohio man left his Burger King dinner in the car for nearly seven hours while he gambled inside an Ohio casino. Matt Frant was scolded by law enforcement and condemned by animal rights groups for neglecting his burgers while gambling.

Frant had picked up two Whopper Jr.'s from his local Burger King in Scranton, Ohio. He then set out for the Greybird Casino. When he arrived at the casino, he was eager to get inside and gamble, so he left the two burgers unaccompanied in the car.

The windows were rolled up in the car, and authorities claim that the burgers had to be sitting in the car in 105 degree heat for at least seven hours. That fact was confirmed when Frant admitted he was in the casino for seven hours.

Local animal rights groups were outraged that Frant, or an individual, would leave hamburgers alone in the car for that period of time. One of the groups, We Are Lunatic Animal People, placed signs on Frant's lawn the next morning.

The signs ranged in their message, but it was clear that WALAP was unhappy with Frant's treatment of the burgers. "Burgers are meat, and they shouldn't be left in the heat," read one sign, another proclaimed, "think of the cow before you go play Pai Gow."

Frant could not be reached for comment, but he did put this statement out through his attorney. "I am extremely sorry for my irresponsibility while gambling at Greybird Casino last night. I was wrong, and I understand I upset a lot of wackos out there. I take full responsibility and will never again neglect my Whoppers, or any other meat product I was preparing to eat."
