Out Of Main Event
Cranky Carl was in rare form at the World Series of Poker on Friday evening. With only a few thousand chips left, our resident poker idiot decided to begin showing everyone he was playing with the most unlikeliest of tells.

The Cranky one had a hand of A-K suited in the small blind, when he suddenly pinched himself in the right arm. The player acting before Carl raised, and Carl once again pinched his right arm before making the call. The flop came out A-K-2, a rainbow. The player checked, and Carl quickly pinched himself before betting $2,300.

The player called. The turn was a K, giving Carl the full house. He pinched himself in the right arm, then bet, the player once again called. The river hit neither player, and Carl then pinched himself, and bet. The player called, and was pissed when Cranky Carl showed the full house.

For the player, it was a tough beat, but Carl believed it was the start of something. he believed that the pinching was good luck and began to pinch himself in the right arm every time he had a big hand. The players soon caught on to this ridiculous tell, and began playing accordingly.

Finally, after losing ten straight hands that he felt were good, he was out of the Main Event. Cranky Carl shouted loud tirades at the players as he left the room. He could not figure out why he lost all of those hands when the pinching was good luck.

"They may have laughed now, but with my new good luck charm, I will almost certainly win some big tournaments in the future," said Carl. No, he probably will not, not with a tell like that, but there's no use explaining that to him.
