No More Gambling!
Jessica Simpson's addiction to online gambling is apparently at the center of the recent break up of Simpson and NFL superstar Tony Romo. The quarterback for the Cowboys is alleging that Simpson frequently made bets online that involved Cowboys games.

"I would come home last year, and she would be all happy after had lost," said Romo, through a Chinese interpreter who may or may not have been interpreting Romo's words correctly, "then I realized this summer she had been betting against my team. That's my team, man. That's just wrong."

When pressed on the issue of how he found out, Romo admitted the two were watching a replay of a Cowboys-Giants game on the NFL Network, when Simpson nonchalantly said how she won $5,000 bucks on the game. Romo realized the Cowboys lost the game, and inquired about Simpson's winnings.

The former star of nothing informed Romo that she had grown addicted to gambling and winning money, and that betting against the Cowboys became the fastest, easiest way of making money.

"Jessica has grown accustomed to making money by doing nothing," said a spokesman, not speaking for Simpson, "When her everyday business of walking around town started drying up last year, she needed to supplement her income, so she did so at the expense of Tony and his team."

Nobody could be reached for comment on this story, but one passer by in the Dallas area seemed shocked that Romo had dumped Simpson the night before her twenty-ninth birthday. The man, who did not wish to be identified as Simpson's bookie, had this to say.

"It's a shame, because the Cowboys were supposed to be a better team this year, and I could have recouped some of the money I paid her (Simpson) last year."
