Go Fish The game of Go Fish was never intended to make anyone lose money, but that is exactly what has happened to our own Crappy Carl. Carl lost money at an online casino over the weekend in an intense game of Go Fish.
The game, which can be played at a variety of online casinos, even if it is only in Crank Carl's head, had our resident whiner in a grumpy mood on Sunday. Carl lost $10K, largely because he cheated and told the opposing player he did not have a nine, when he did.
The gaffe cost Carl a large pot, and put him in the hole where he had to chase his money. The player on the other end of the computer then finished off Carl in the heads-up match.
Things started strongly for the Cranky one. he hit on his first four asks, a ten, queen, two, and three. Then he missed a couple of times, and had to Go Fish. The middle of the game was filled with back and forth smack talk, with Carl at one point giving his opponent a tongue lashing via the games message board.
"You think you always know what I have or don't have in my hand, but you don't know sh*t," typed Carl, "your so stupid that even if I had the card you are looking for, I would tell you I didn't, and you would believe me!"
Unfortunately for Carl, the ten year old he was playing against was not who he had to watch out for. The Go Fish game has a built in feature that tells when a player is lying about his cards. That is how Cranky Carl was busted for not giving his opponent the nine he requested.
By the end of the game, Carl, as is usually the case, was tapped out. The ten year old had worn him down, and Carl left the table claiming he would never play Go Fish again. His parting words to his young opponent were classic.
"Go Fish? Go f*ck yourself!"
