95% Online Gambling Tax?
A US Senator has proposed a complete overhaul of the US government financial system. The way he plans to pay for all financial shortcomings? Online gambling.

Senator Jack Cash believes that the way to fix health care in the US is to thrown Internet gambling revenue money at the problem. For every hundred dollars a player spends at an online casino, ten will go towards health care.

In addition to health care, unemployment has become a big issue in the US. Senator Cash wants twenty-five dollars of every hundred wagered to go towards unemployment programs. That would bring the total tax on Internet gambling up to thirty-five, but Cash is not stopping there.

The next proposal would be thirty dollars for every hundred to go towards helping people that are behind on their mortgages. Fifteen dollars would go towards ensuring that our children get a strong education.

Ten dollars would be allocated for insurance in case there is another natural disaster in the country over the next year. Five additional dollars would go to fixing federal roadways and other environmentally friendly projects.

In all, that is a ninety-five percent tax for the right to run online gambling operations. Ironically, Internet gambling operators are considering that a victory.
