"OMG, I Won!" An anti-casino protest in Maryland has led to the latest million dollar lottery winner in the state. Joe Crisbow was marching in the anti-gambling protest, when he stopped in a convenience store and bought a lottery ticket.
Later that night, Crisbow was dumbfounded when he learned that the ticket he had bought matched all of the winning numbers for the Lotto game. The prize he won was one million, but it has some of his protest friends angry.
"We were out protesting gambling, and Joe goes in and buys a lottery ticket," said Mary Shromp, Chairman of We Hate Everything, Especially Casinos, "There is no way Joe should claim that prize. In fact, he should throw that ticket away as a show of support for our cause.
When told about Shromp's suggestion, Crisbow laughed hysterically. He claimed that the only reason he was marching in the anti-casino protest was because he had been a gambling addict in the past, and he met a girl he liked in his Gamblers Anonymous meetings.
"This chick was going to the protest, so I figured I'd score some brownie points," said Crisbow, "Throw the ticket away, is she (Shromp) fu**in' serious? That's a million dollars. I'm collecting that ASAP."
