Burgers And Slots? For those who want their slot machine gambling quick like their fast food, McDonald's has just the thing for you. McDonald's has announced that they will be adding slot machines to their dollar value menu in December.
The casino gambling phenomenon is sweeping across the US, and fast food chains believe they are as good a place as any to house slot machines. McDonald's will be the first chain to install the machines in their restaurants, but if it appears to be working, Wendy's may not be far behind.
There will be special rules for players at McDonald's. First, each player must guarantee that they will spend at least $10 on burgers and fries during their stay. Once the limit is reached, the slot players will receive an additional $5 in free play on the machines.
"Our goal is to have every gambler in America not only enjoy playing slots in our McDonald's, but also for these gamblers to become severely overweight in the process," said fake McDonald's spokesman, Grant Bull.
The machines themselves will also have a McDonald's flavor to them. The five reel slots will have chicken nuggets, fries, burgers, milkshakes, and fish sandwiches. With every win, the smell of the winning symbols will permeate through the air.
Upon finding out that McDonald's was installing the slot machines, Burger King immediately called a meeting of their CEO's. According to a person at that meeting that wished to remain anonymous, the focus was on why McDonald's always comes up with the good ideas first.
