New Jersey
Atlantic City has long been the bully of the casino industry in the Northeast, but lately it has been the little brothers that have been eating up AC casino profits. The latest state to steal customers from New Jersey is Delaware.

Recently, Delaware legalized sports gambling, and that prompted officials to throw the first punch at New Jersey. One official even cited the dirty highways as a way to help increase business in Delaware.

"Now that we have sports betting, nobody will have to travel to that smelly state of New jersey to do their gambling," said the official, who wished to remain anonymous, "Without the need for their casinos, shouldn't we just contract that state?"

Casino operators in other Northeastern states piled on as well. For years, Atlantic City has dumped on their neighboring states, but now they are becoming the wasteland. Pennsylvania recently legalized table games, and that was accompanied by this press release.

"We, in Pennsylvania, would like to welcome back and apologize to out residents that have had to travel to that s**thole of a state to do their gambling. Now, people in our communities can enjoy the fresh air that New Jersey does not possess."

As for the gaming, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, and Delaware have all made up ground on Atlantic City, and even some within New jersey are questioning why anyone would travel to their state to gamble.

Let's be serious," said the official, "Why would anyone want any part of this state? We used to have the only casinos in the area, so people were forced to deal with our crap, but now, they can gamble in much nicer states."
