Green M & M's
A gambler in New Jersey was thrown out of a popular casino on Wednesday for eating too many green M & M's. The card player was winning a lot of money on the roulette table, so the casino found a reason to remove him from the table.

It was the early afternoon on Wednesday and Jack Barkas was having the time of his life. Barkas was racking up money on a roulette table, when a pit boss came over and asked him to please step outside of the casino. Once outside, Barkas was told he could not re-enter the casino for thirty days.

When he inquired as to the reason for the ban, a casino manager informed Barkas that he had eaten to many green M & M's from the free bowl of M & M's that was on the rail of the table. The casino manager explained that it appeared the green M & M's were bringing Barkas luck, and that they could not afford to keep losing money to him.

"They told me they appreciated my business, but that my green M & M consumption was hurting their bottom line for the month," said a distraught Barkas, shortly after being kicked out of the casino. "I don't care if they stop me from gambling, but now I can't even come back for free M & M's for the next month."

The casino did not respond to a Craps Online interview request. One employee, however, did let us in on why the casino manager may have been in a foul mood.

"This guy (casino manager) makes a commission based on the casino's revenue," said the employee, who wished to remain anonymous. "If he felt the gambler was gaining an edge by eating green M & M's, then he would have immediately thrown him out."

The employee went on to tell us that the he had only worked at the casino for three months, but in that time he has seen the manager in question throw out two other gamblers. One ejection was a woman wearing what the manager thought was too much hair spray, and the other an elderly man who had won three straight hands of blackjack.
