Ben Roethlisberger
A twenty-seven year old casino clerk at a Las Vegas casinos has contacted the NFL office and lodged a complaint against disgruntled Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The clerk alleges that Roethlisberger once cursed at him while checking in.

"He just came right up to the counter and asked for his room key," wrote the clerk, who wished to remain anonymous. "Then, as he was walking away, I heard him tell his friend that this was a cool as h*ll casino."

While no player has ever been suspended for cursing, and most people do not consider h*ll a curse word, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has given indications that he will look into this matter further. Goodell has been known to have a heavy hand when it comes to discipline, and this could be another case of a looming suspension.

"There is little doubt that he (Roethlisberger) will be suspended by the league for saying the word h*ll in public," said Barry Goldfarb, head of media Relations and Sh*t Talking for the commissioners office. "The question now becomes, what was the intent of Roethlisberger when he let that word slip, and how many games will Goodell suspend him for."

In the past month, NFL players have been fined for various casino infractions. One player was fined $25,000 for playing red instead of black on the roulette table. Another player served a one game suspension for ordering a drink from an Asian bartender.

This is Roethlisberger's first offense with the cursing issue, although witnesses claim he has used the "F" word on several occasions. The commissioner could not verify these claims because the casinos had destroyed the surveillance tapes of the dates in question.
